Accounting Manager, Charleston, SC
A privately-held, high-growth, services company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. This position will report directly to the Controller and responsibilities include:
- Manage day to day accounting operations and support staff for fast-paced commercial construction division
- Lead month end close including review of general ledger accounts, journal entries, including month end accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports
- Help implement new policies and procedures
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 4 years’ of experience in hands-on full-cycle accounting including the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries. Candidates must have excellent problem solving skills and a strong attention to detail. Ideal candidates have experience in the construction industry.
