Our client, a well-established private-equity backed services company based in Charleston, is seeking a CFO.  This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Finance Leader with strong leadership and transactional skills as this company is positioned for high growth.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all accounting and financial functions
  • Develop, execute, measure, and evaluate data and provide accurate reporting, analysis, insights and recommendations to the Board
  • Identify and communicate solutions to complex, time-critical or recurring business issues
  • Ensure cost savings and business performance improvement initiatives are developed and implemented

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, MBA/CPA preferred with a minimum 15 years of overall experience.  This individual must have experience with both managing the financial close process as well as managing all budget, forecasting and strategic planning activities including M&A experience.  Candidates must have strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
