Controller, Mt. Pleasant, SC (Hybrid)

A privately-held, high-growth, services company is seeking a Corporate Controller to join their team.  This position will report directly to the CFO and responsibilities include:

• Manage day to day accounting operations and support staff
• Lead month end close including review of general ledger accounts, journal entries, including month end accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports
• Help implement new policies and procedures

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 6 years’ of experience in hands-on full-cycle accounting including the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries. Candidates must have excellent problem solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
