Senior Accountant, Mt. Pleasant, SC

Our client, a fast-growing financial services company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position will be based in Mt. Pleasant, SC and will report to the Controller. Responsibilities include:

• Facilitate and report month end close functions
• Reconcile accounts and resolve complex reconciliation issues as necessary
• Prepare and review a variety of financial statements
• Special projects & other ad hoc tasks

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with a minimum of 2 years of full-cycle Accounting experience. Ideal background would include experience in either corporate accounting and/or public accounting. CPA track preferred. Must be extremely detail-oriented and have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Opportunity to work hybrid following initial training.  Must be local!
