Our client, a long-established, family-owned distributor and installer in Summerville, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for the business. This is a hands-on role working closely with ownership.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage month-end close and prepare monthly financial statements
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Coordinate payroll and related reporting
- Maintain the chart of accounts and oversee day-to-day accounting activity
- Coordinate with outside tax professionals
- Assist with insurance and benefits administration
- Support accounting for related real estate entities
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on accounting experience
- Solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements
- QuickBooks experience required
- Degree in Accounting preferred
This position is in office five days a week in Summerville, SC.
