A well-established, Charleston-based CPA firm is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join its team. This role offers broad client exposure, direct interaction with firm leadership, and the opportunity to gain experience across audit, accounting, and select consulting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance engagements
- Prepare workpapers and financial statements
- Communicate directly with clients throughout engagements
- Identify and resolve accounting and audit issues
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and consulting projects
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 2–4 years of public accounting audit experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
